Mike Carney

Michael (Mike) Carney is a Colorado Licensed Appraiser who has been appraising residential properties in the Denver Metro area since 1986. Prior to the appraisal profession, Mike was a loan originator and branch manager for several savings and loan organizations in Nebraska and Colorado. He is a 1969 graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Social Studies. Mike has been associated with Metropolitan Appraisers, Inc. since 1986 and is competent in all types of residential properties including single and multi-family residences. Other areas of expertise include vacant lot appraisals and FHA properties. He holds a current state appraisal license and is covered by the firm’s Errors and Omissions insurance policy. Mike is familiar with the 6 county metro area as well as having a great deal of experience appraising in outlying locations such as Bennett, Strasburg, Kiowa, Ft. Lupton and Boulder.

Mike McCarthy

Michael (Mike) McCarthy is a Colorado Certified Residential appraiser who began appraising residential properties in the Denver Metro area in 1981. He has been with Metropolitan Appraisers, Inc. since 1991 and is currently on the FHA Fee Panel Roster. Prior employers include the Jefferson County Assessor as well as other appraisal firms. Mike is well qualified to complete appraisal reports for all types of residential properties including multi-family dwellings and vacant building lots. He also has considerable experience in new construction projects, using plans and specifications to develop market value. While he primarily appraises properties in the 6 county metro area, Mike also has expertise in several close-in areas such as Morrison, Evergreen and Conifer. He holds a current State license and is covered by the firm’s Errors and Omissions insurance policy.

Scott Page

Scott Page is a Colorado Certified Residential appraiser who began appraising in the Denver Metro area in 1992 and has been employed by Metropolitan Appraisers, Inc. since 1993. Prior to this, he was a partner in a California appraisal firm, having begun his career in 1985. Scott has been a designated Senior Member of the nationally recognized American Society of Appraisers (ASA) since 1990 and served as a Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the San Jose Chapter. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State Northridge completing many appraisal classes as course-work there. Scott has extensive experience as a review appraiser, especially for ‘high-end’ properties, and has taught classes designed for the reviewer and underwriter. Currently several major banks take advantage of his knowledge in this area. He also has been engaged by law firms as an expert witness in divorce and civil cases. Scott appraises all types of residential and small income properties including vacant subdivision lots. He has particular expertise, however, in appraising jumbo and complex properties either from plans and specifications or actual inspection. Scott is familiar with the 6 county metro area as well as having experience in outlying areas such as Boulder, Evergreen, and Morrison. He holds a current Colorado appraiser’s license and is covered by the firm’s Errors and Omissions insurance policy.
